The CSCP class we be one Saturday per month (July 30, August 27th, September 24, October 29, December 3) allowing the student to read the next sections in the book before class. Class is very interactive, not merely a lecture, in order to help the students relate the information to both their current work experience, and to prepare for the exam in December. The Mid Florida Chapter is conducting an Instructor led course for CSCP during the months of January and February. This series of classes is scheduled to allow individuals schedule tests via computer. The dates of the training are:
Module 1 – January 11, 2011 complete
Module 2 – January 18, 2011 complete
Module 3 – February 8, 2011 complete
Module 4 – February 15, 2011 complete
Prices for the class is $1495.00 for APICS members and $1695.00 for nonmembers (includes one year membership). This includes the materials and necessary codes for access to the internet portion of the curriculum. Mid Florida will purchase the Learning Systems and the space in the class is limited so contact Jim Pullin at 407-644-2156 or jrpullin77@cfl.rr.com to reserve a place in the class.
Classes will be held at the Mount Vernon Inn Best Western, 110 S Orlando Ave., Winter Park, FL 32789, 407-647-1166 from 0800 Am to 5300 PM on Tuesdays. A block of rooms will be reserved with an attractive rate of $89.00 per night for those coming from out of town. There is a restaurant opening at 7:00 AM for breakfast if needed and also available for lunch.
Remember that individuals taking the CSCP exam must be approved by APICS prior to taking the exam. It is responsibility of the individual to secure this approval from APICS. Instructions for obtaining approval are contained on the APICS web page (APICS.org) under “Certification/CSCP”.
Individuals who have taken a previous CSCP Instructor led course or purchased the Learning System and need a review before taking the CSCP exam may use this opportunity to attend the sessions.
