chapters and satisfied members. To assist chapters in achieving excellence in
chapter management, APICS offers the CMS/CBar program that defines chapter
standards and recognizes their efforts.
Steps To CMS/CBar Success
Step
1 - Visit CBox and download both the CBar Handbook and the Enhanced
CBar workbook.
To download the documents visit the CMS/CBar section of CBox.
Step 2 - Review the materials with your entire chapter board.
Step 3 - Contact your chapter's
CMS/CBar district evaluator, who is a member of the
Southeast District Volunteer Management team.
Step 4 - Complete the enhanced workbook and submit all supporting
documents to your chapter's CMS/CBar district evaluator.
Promote APICS Enterprise Membership in your community
APICS redesigned the enterprise membership pages on apics.org to guide companies through the features and benefits of APICS enterprise membership.
Chapter officers can share the link with companies, talk to them about enterprise membership, and encourage them to become active participants in your chapter through APICS enterprise membership.
